Phoenix Propulsion Labs is a business run on the basis of military
protocol, organization and structure. The way that this has
been set up will allow for the easy dissemination of information
to all executive/command staff and to the rest of the Corporation
as a whole. It will also allow for pilot career and rank advancement
based upon productivity and achievement. We have instated
a number of programs which are designed to look after our
employees and see that they, as well as the Corporation, are
rewarded financially as well as able to advance their characters
within the game.

Phoenix Propulsion Labs is divided into two Divisions
which are headed up and overseen by an executive branch. Each
division has primary roles to play within the Corporation
but every member within both Divisions is expected to be able
to contribute to any and all situations as required at that
time. The reason for this freedom is two fold. It allows your
employees the freedom to do whatever strikes their fancy at
any given time and because it allows the Corporation to task
jobs to employees as they are online and required. This type
of flexibility is crucial to making a Corporate organization
succeed and advance within the world of EVE.
Many Corporations within existence today over complicate
things with Boards of Directors, High Councils, Supreme Leaders
Council and many other forms of governing. Because of the
size, organization and direction of the Phoenix Propulsion Labs
these facets of administration become obsolete.
Phoenix Propulsion Labs is run by a Chief Executive Officer and
a Chief Financial Officer, both men also hold military ranks
of Fleet Admiral and Adjutant General respectively. These
executives are responsible for the direction and decisions
of the Corporation. Each Division head also has access and
input in this office and may attend meetings as "advisors".
They are the direct link to the pulse of each Division.

This person is considered to be the direct will and soul of the Corporation. His word is law. He has the power to command and direct both Divisions at will and can deploy either as per requirement. Generally this individual will handle most administrative tasks and in conjunction with the CFO, make the major decisions which will guide the direction and state of the Corporation. He also has the final word on any issue involving the Corporation, its operations, procedures, finances and interactions within the community itself. This officer holds the military rank of Fleet Admiral. |

The barer of this rank assists the commanding officer and is responsible for ensuring that each Division and its personnel are aware of the CEO's orders and the direction of the company. In the CEO's absence this office, with recommendation from the two Division leaders, handles all management and administrative duties for the Corporation as a whole. Also the Chief Financial Officer handles all Corporate finances, stock programs and funds. In essence it is the Corporate equivalent to a military Quartermaster. The CFO / Adjutant General holds the military rank of Admiral. |

The role of the ACFO is to provide a helping hand with the admin duties involved with the day to day running of the corporation. Working in close proximity with the CFO, they act as his eyes and ears and are also the first point of contact if the CFO is not available. |

Staff officer who can hold any Commissioned rank within the Corporation command structure. This individual is responsible for the internal resources of the Corporation. This officer handles most, if not all, of the hiring and firing and keeps up to date personnel files on all current and past employees. |

This title is held by the executive staff officer who is responsible for the public and inter-corporate relations conducted by Phoenix Labs within the EVE universe. This individual may be of any rank but must possess a certain flare for diplomatic negotiations as well as answering questions or comments directed towards the Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories. |

This individual acts as an assistant to the Human Resource Officer. He conducts interviews and is responsible for other Personnel issues whilst the HRO is unavailable. |

We have tried to keep this true to form within the Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories Corporation both for the military aspect of things
and the business side of things. We pride ourselves on the
fact that our Logistics Division contains some of the brightest
and most capable people within the EVE universe. If you seek

build it. if you wish research and development - they can
accomplish this as well.
The people located within this division are the most creative
and bright minds within the galaxy. They have a loyalty and
a drive to succeed that makes them true crusaders for the
Capitalist way of life!
The duties of any Logistics member include mining, research
and development, construction, management of business operations,
internal management, analysis of galactic trends, marketing
and negotiation. In addition to all these duties each employee
is a capable and seasoned combat pilot.

The Logistics Command Department consists of the Chief of the Logistics and his Executive Officer. These two individuals are tasked with issuing the objectives to the Division and dealing with any internal personnel matters within their Division. |

Primary Role
Responsible for maintaining the most current copies on the Factory Floor. Ensuring that Original BPs are researched to desigated levels and providing copies to the CFO via the Trade hanger. They will also be the prime runners for activly persuing Agent missions that promotes better factions with those NPC corps that are responsible for Tech 2 material and developement.

All new Cadets will join the Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories Corporation as a member of this Department. When they are promoted to the rank of Midshipman (and have passed pre-qualification) they will be permitted to transfer to Military operations if they are combat oriented. Those who wish to remain in Logistic Operations will remain in Mining & Hauling Division but will be groomed for either Production/Refining or Agent/Research tasks.

Although primarily a peaceful and business focused Corporation
we haven't lost sight of the dangers inherent in deep space
exploration and travel. Phoenix Propulsion Labs does employ and
deploy an in house organized military wing. Whenever an entity
threatens the normal operations of the Corporation, or attempts
any hostile maneuver against Phoenix Propulsion Labs, the military
wing is called in to deal with the situation. If ever there
existed a concentrated military presence within the Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories, the Phalanx Division is it.
This Division comprises of the most battle hardened and martially
efficient personnel found within the Corporation.
The duties of any member of the Defense Division include
patrol, interdiction, special operations assignments, offensive
and defensive combat, escort and any counter intelligence
missions which might be required. Every member of this Division
has chosen their career path knowing full well that this might
lead to their destruction. These men and women are fanatically
loyal and are the last thing standing between the Corporation
and the pirates and scum of the universe.

This Department is comprised of the mainstay of the Phoenix Phalanx Forces. These individuals are personnel who have trained along the martial skill trees.
Primary Role
Responsibility is providing combat personnel to support and protect the Logistics Mining & Transport Department during operations.
Secondary Role
To provide combat elements for on-call missions by the Senior Officer Present on Station.

This rank belongs solely to the Chief Executive Officer. This is the Supreme Commander and "maker of all decisions important". It is the most trusted and most commanding rank that can be acquired within the Military. |

This rank belongs solely to the Chief Financial Officer. This is the next step down in the Chain of Command from the top and in the absence of the Fleet Admiral is to be considered the Corporation Commander in Chief. He is the most trusted advisor to the Fleet Admiral. |

The holders of this rank are the CO of either the Logistics and Military division. The CO has overall responsibility in the running of their division and the departments that make it up. Working with their XO they are involved in the management of the resources at their disposal to follow the orders of the CEO and CFO to best effect. Also the CO's work with the other members of the Executive Branch in planning and management of the corporation overall and the future direction that Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories takes. During wartime the Vice Admiral would be responsible for large scale fleet deployments and liasing with allied fleets. |

The holders of this rank are the XO of either the Logistics and Military Divisions. These individuals work closely with their CO in the management of the various departments under them. They are reponsible for the day to day running of the departments dealing with issues from manning levels to deployments to best follow the CEO's and CFO's orders. Like the CO he also liases with the other Executive Branch in deciding the policy and direction of Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories. During wartime the Rear Admiral would be responsible for large scale fleet deployments. |

This rank is awarded to members of the Executive Branch who are responsible for both the internal and external running of the corporation. Typically the holders of this rank are usually the Human Resource Officer or Diplomatic Officer. They also have much experience and have usually been promoted from the ranks after showing a particular eptitiude for their chosen field. They also work with the CFO and CEO in the day to day running of the corporation. During wartime these members would also be responsible for medium sized fleet deployments. |

This rank is awarded to the individuals who are charged with the command, development and deployment of the department that they are the head of within their respective divsion. These individuals are literally indispensable to the XO and CO of the Division they are under and are resposible for the smooth running of their Department. |

This rank is awarded upon the basis of loyalty, self sacrifice and contribution to the Corporation above and beyond the call. These individuals are promoted to this level due to their efficency in all that they do and have brought victory, and success, to the Corporation on numerous occasions. They have also demonstrated fanatic loyalty and retain an exempliary military/civilian career. This is usually the rank of someone who is second in command of any particular Department. It is the lowest rank any one person can hold in the Executive Division. |

This rank is awarded to those who have shown promise and skill in the areas of leadership and command, be it Civilian or Military. This is the first step in the internal Command Officers Training course. These officers serve under a Senior Commander and gain insight into the burden of comamand. Any officer who wishs to continue their career into the Senior Command areas must first serve time at this rank. |

This rank is what any ambitious Lt Jgr. hopes to achieve. They are promoted to this rank if they have displayed the necessary leadership and teamwork qualities to operate to their maximum potential and inspire others to work to their fullest. This is the very first step a member of Phoenix Labs makes if they are hoping to acheieve a command position. |

After an unspecified term of service Ensigns are promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. This is the rank at which loyal and active employees, will begin preparations in the understanding of the leadership styles within the Corp. Your Captain and his superiors will be taking keen interest in your success's and failures. |

Midshipman are promoted to Ensign upon being recognized as qualified to accept all tasks within their Department and as having justified their existence to the command staff. Promotion to Lieutenant Jgr. is eminent baring any misconduct. |

Cadets are promoted to Midshipman when they have demonstrated above average ability and have been accepted by their peers and superior officers. This rank prepares new Officers to develop in their chosen departments and gather recognition within their Division. |

All new general employees, who pass the initial interviews, enter the Corporation at this rank. Upon demonstrating their loyalty to the Corporation, their initiative, their creativity and their other beneficial traits a cadet is given a Commission within the Corporation as a Midshipman |
